Who am I?
Boka. Not a secret.
Don’t play tricks and fool me.
Does a fool keep secrets? Or does he act cleverly and foolishly trying to keep secrets?
Everything about Boka is open. Anyone can use a Boka as a reference for information. The Boka doesn’t know courts or offices. The Boka doesn’t understand the court of conscience either. The Boka is not litigious. If the Boka steals, he stares wide-eyed. That gaze’s sharpness will pierce your heart. You will keep trying to dodge like a fish, but you won’t be spared. That’s why the Boka is open.
Boka is primarily an online literary magazine. In addition, Boka shows keen interest in current topics, which is why it features a dedicated section called “Khoborer Khobordari” (News on News).
Boka wants to awaken the people. It brings simple, everyday issues to the forefront. Boka seeks to articulate clarity. It works collectively on behalf of the common people.
Boka is not an organization — but it speaks for everyone. It aims to voice what ordinary people often cannot express. Boka satirizes the absurd. Through satire and irony, it draws attention to things that often go unnoticed.
Boka dreams of a world that is livable for all. It speaks the language of life, and it expresses the very essence of life. Boka stands firmly against injustice and inequality — but it does not protest in direct confrontation. Instead, it refines and reshapes the language of resistance.
Boka moves forward, plain and unapologetic — without pretension or disguise.
So, the question arises — What does Boka publish?
Boka publishes a wide range of content: stories, poems, rhymes, novels, translations, essays and articles, reviews and critiques, observations, analyses, investigations, and interviews — and much more.
Boka seeks to express itself in the language of the common people. It does not impose any rigid standards or criteria. For Boka, there is no distinction between the famous and the unknown. Everyone is a writer of Boka, and everyone is a reader of Boka.
Boka hopes its writers are people of awareness — someone who writes a poem and truly feels it.
